Woman quits job to make vodka, bacon lollipops

A woman has quit her job to focus on producing an unusual selection of lollipops.

Megan Ferrell resigned from her post as graphic designer and now makes 'lemon vodka' and 'maple bacon' candy using natural ingredients.

The handmade sweets are targeted specifically for adults - for instance, 'lemon vodka' lollipops contain real vodka.

According to The Huffington Post, Ferrell said: "I remember [thinking], 'How hard can this be?'

"It was a lot harder than I thought! When you start adding natural ingredients, it becomes a lot more difficult."

On the 'maple bacon' flavour, Ferrell stated: "It's unusual because you don't find meat in candy.

"But... if you like pancakes and bacon and sausage and maple syrup, you're going to like it."
