Four female activists gatecrashed a Sunday mass delivered by the Pope in a gay rights protest.
Taking place in the Vatican, the feminists took their tops off in St Peter's Square during the weekly Angelus prayer, revealing the message "In Gay We Trust" written on their backs.
The women - part of the group Femen - also made their presence known by shouting at Pope Benedict XVI to "shut up".
Police quickly acted, grabbing and forcibly escorting the protesters away from the crowd.
The protest was targeted at the Vatican over their stance against gay marriage.
