Flat designed especially to appeal to cats

A Japanese building company has designed a flat centred entirely around cats.

The apartment, created by designers at Asahi Kasei, includes cat flaps in every door, cat proof surfaces that won't scratch, platforms, tunnels and viewing areas.



Designers researched interactions between humans and cats before deciding which features to include in the flat, which even has little boxes in bathrooms.
