On Wednesday (January 23), Eden Hazard appeared to kick a 17-year-old ball boy during Chelsea's Capital One Cup semi-final second leg game against Swansea, after the teen held up play by lying on top of the match ball.
The ad - which ran in a number of UK newspapers this morning (January 25) - features the UK opticians chain's slogan, "Should've gone to Specsavers".
The phrase has become known for accompanying footage and images of people confusing one object for another because they failed to take an eye test.
Above the tagline, the company placed a picture of a youth in a "ball boy" tabard and a football.
The images are helpfully accompanied by a tick and a cross, jokingly telling Hazard which of the two is which and is therefore acceptable to kick.
