Pastor complains about 18% tip on receipt: "I give God 10%" - picture

A receipt has gone viral on the internet after a customer wrote a note complaining about the tip.

The person who refused to tip claimed to be a pastor, writing: "I give God 10%, why do you get 18%?"



The picture of the receipt surfaced on Reddit yesterday (January 29).

The post on the social website has drawn more than 3,500 comments so far - some condemning the person for refusing to tip, with others debating the idea of tipping.

Earlier this month, a customer chose not to tip, blaming President Barack Obama, while last November, a woman did not tip after a $140 (£90) dinner, claiming that she was a single mother.
