Anne Hathaway has pleaded her case on why she should win an Oscar later this month.
Played by actress Emma Fitzpatrick, Hathaway tries to convince Academy members to vote for her to the tune of 'I Dreamed a Dream' after being nominated for Les Misérables in the 'Best Supporting Actress' category.
The Academy Award nominee sings: "But I was bold and not afraid/ I let them give me this new haircut/ And I lost half my body weight/ But then they never did a wide shot."
The number concludes with: "Members of the Academy/ Please don't forget, 'Anne' with an 'e'."
The video, which was uploaded on January 28, has attracted more than 300,000 hits so far.
