Baby snowboarder hits the slopes - video

A toddler from Portland, Oregon has attracted the attention of local news stations after her mum posted a video of her snowboarding on YouTube.

The video sees 23-month-old Eden Grace Covaciu effortlessly glide down the slopes at Mount Hood Meadows Ski Resort in Oregon.



Eden's parents first took their daughter to the cascades when she was just six weeks old and say she learned to snowboard before she could even walk, reports Koin News.

Her mum Sharon Covaciu said: "With snowboarding we always want to get on at the first run, so we wake up at 5.30 and get her out of bed.

"As soon as we mention snow she's all excited about it and knows that she's going to the mountains."
