Sampson joins 'Into The Hoods' cast

Britain's Got Talent winner George Sampson has been cast in West End show Into The Hoods.

Sampson will play one of the lead characters - a child who gets lost in the 'hood' - for a four-week run beginning next month.

"This year is getting better and better. The Into The Hoods show is funky and young and I love the music in it - I can’t wait to get dancing on that stage!" he said.

The production, which features music from Gorillaz, Massive Attack and Jay-Z, is a contemporary reworking of Stephen Sondheim's musical Into The Woods.

Sampson's run commences on August 4 at the Novello Theatre, Aldwych.
