A group of policemen caused disruption at the Last Choir Standing auditions due to their obsession with show host Myleene Klass.

The coppers were so distracted by meeting Myleene and taking pictures of her on their mobile phones that they almost missed their slot to audition for the BBC One reality series.

As the group surrounded the former Hear'say singer, some even joked about handcuffing her, according to the Daily Star.

An onlooker told the newspaper: "When the bobbies saw Myleene, she sent all their pulses racing. They went weak at the knees just meeting her."

The show, which sets out to find the nation's favourite choir, continues tonight at 7.00pm on BBC One.
