Contestants from reality shows past are to take part in a new reality show charting their feature-length debuts.

The twelve alumni - from series such as Survivor and The Apprentice - will appear together in a specially-developed horror movie called The Scorned. The film, written by Survivor Amazon's Rob Cesternino, is about the ghost of a woman seeking revenge on those who wronged her.

"Kill Reality gives your favourite reality stars the opportunity to prove their talents and acting abilities and to show they are more than just stars of reality television," said Lisa Berger, head of programming development at E! Networks.

"Fans of the reality genre will love seeing their favourite stars commingling together and working together toward one common goal - to make a great horror film."

The participants include:

  • Ethan Zohn (Survivor)
  • Jenna Lewis (Survivor)
  • Jon "Jonny Fairplay" Dalton (Survivor)
  • Jenna Morasca (Survivor)
  • Trishelle Cannatella (Real World, Surreal Life)
  • Tonya Cooley (Real World)
  • Steven Hill (Real World)
  • Bob Guiney (The Bachelor)
  • Trish Schneider (The Bachelor)
  • Reichen Lehmkuhl (Amazing Race)
  • Stacie J. Upchurch (The Apprentice)
Called Kill Reality, the programme is set to premiere July 25 on E! Television. The Scorned will debut on the network in September.
