'Emmerdale' actor to be dropped from 'Soapstar'

Emmerdale star Ben Freeman is set to be dropped from Soapstar Superstar.

The actor was charged with rape while on holiday in Barbados recently after an allegation was made by a British woman. He had signed up for the new series of Soapstar, which starts in January, but producers are currently considering whether he should be replaced.

A source told the Daily Star: "Things aren't looking good for him. The Soapstar Superstar team feel it would be wrong to carry on with him on board."
