Heather Mills has been praised by judges on US TV show Dancing With The Stars.

The estranged wife of Sir Paul McCartney managed to score 18 out of 30 marks for her Foxtrot with dance partner Jonathan Roberts. The pair finished in seventh place out of 11 couples.

The show's judges applauded her decision to compete on the show despite only having one leg.

Judge Bruno Tonioli told Mills: "You've got more guts than Rambo. The thing to pick on was actually the top half. Watch your frame, neck to shoulder frame."

Fellow judge Len Goodman also praised Mills' performance, saying: "There was far more right about that routine than there was wrong."

Mills said: "I'm just glad I didn't fall over. I thought I'd be the lowest so I'm pleased."
