Adam's team decided to make two types of confectionery. Their chocolate lollipop sold well, but their efforts were hampered when London Zoo bosses insisted that their orange lollipop, which contained 11 E-numbers, could not be marketed as a "natural" product.
Ghazal's team also elected to make two types of confectionery. Their fudge sweets sold well, but they were forced to raise their prices after failing to make as many chocolate lollipops as they had hoped.
Adam's team made £983.80 from their confectionery, but Ghazal's team enjoyed the sweet taste of victory after earning £994.31. The winning team were promptly sent off to a bowling alley as a reward.
Adam chose to bring Natalie and Sophie into the boardroom because he doubted their abilities as salespeople. After a tense boardroom battle, in which Sir Alan noted that the team's orange lollipop resembled "child's vomit in aruldite", Sophie was fired. Her admission that she found it difficult to sell an overpriced product proved her undoing.
