Any Dream Will Do contestants have become superstitious over a weekly ritual involving the evicted hopeful's dreamcoat.

Each week the eliminated contestant performs for a final time, while two of the remaining boys strip him of his coat. One of the pair involved in the ritual then holds up the coat, while the other gives up his grip. The hopefuls have noticed that whoever ends up without the coat finds himself in the bottom two in the following week's episode.

Lewis Bradley, 17, was left coatless last week and has become convinced that he will face the chop tonight.

"It's like a curse," he told the Daily Star. "There is definitely something weird going on. Everyone's getting freaked out."
