Potts: 'I still worry it is all a dream'

Britain's Got Talent winner Paul Potts didn't quit his job at Carphone Warehouse for nine months because he was worried his success was just a dream.

The opera singer has revealed that he only left his mobile phone job last week, despite winning £100,000 on the ITV reality show last summer.

He told The Sun: "Part of me was scared in case I handed in my notice for real and then found out I was dreaming everything else.

"It also means I’m completely reliant on my singing career being a success, which I’m fully aware is not an automatic right."

It was announced last week that Potts would have his life story turned into a movie. Simon Cowell will produce the film.
