Bruno Tonioli has said he would like to swap jobs with Simon Cowell and be a judge on X Factor.
The Strictly Come Dancing star suggested the pair could swap roles and raise money for charity.
He told The Sun: "We like a bit of a giggle - there is no competition between us. Simon has a lot of ideas for new TV shows and we were discussing swapping jobs - I’ll do X Factor and he’ll do Strictly.
"It would be for charity, perhaps Children In Need. It would be funny. Simon, I’ll give you a rest - put your feet up!"
Despite rumours that the Italian is involved in a pay dispute over the new series of the dance competition, Tonioli insists that he can't wait to return for another season.
He commented: "I have been in America, I’ve not even seen the contract yet. But of course I want to come back, I love that show."
