The 24-year-old from Rhyl is the third hopeful Nancy to depart the show after losing to Keisha Amponsa-Banson on Sunday night's sing-off.
The pair found themselves in the bottom two after Saturday's voting and sang 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow' in front of Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber for a place on next week's show.
"Two very talented performers, but I've got to think about the eight shows a week aspect," said Lloyd Webber, choosing to save Keisha for the second week running.
The producer described Tara's Saturday performance of 'Let's Here it for the Boy' as "cheeky, poppy" but had reservations about her ability to withstand the demanding Oliver! schedule.
"I'm just not sure you'd be able to do eight shows a week," Lloyd Webber explained.
Of the Oliver finalists, ten-year-old Arthur from Bristol was chosen to progress into the semi-finals.
