
The 23-year-old from Harrow, who performed Anastacia's 'I'm Outta Love' on Saturday's live show, was placed in the bottom two with Niamh Perry after a public vote. Following Sunday's sing-off, Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber chose to save 17-year-old Niamh for next week's instalment.
The producer admitted it was a "travesty" that he had to send one of them home.
"First, I'm going to say this is a complete and utter travesty, neither of you should be in the bottom two. It's completely wrong.
"I've been put into a situation that I have never wanted to be in. For the first time on a television show, I am angry."
Following his decision to axe Keisha, Lloyd Webber offered words of consolation: "You were absolutely wonderful. I think you have a huge career ahead of you and all I can say is that I'll do anything I can to help you."
Following a group performance of 'It's The Hard Knock Life', Oliver contestant Alexander was chosen to progress to the semi-finals.
