
ITV1's Britain's Got Talent has defeated BBC One rival I'd Do Anything in a reality TV ratings battle.
Both series aired their final competition and results shows separately on Saturday night.
The early Talent show, from 6.50pm to 8.30pm, drew an average of 11m, or 51% of the TV audience, and peaked with 13m viewers. The results show, over 30 minutes from 9.30pm, was even more popular, averaging 13.1m (55%) and peaking at 14.4m.
Final performances on I'd Do Anything, in an earlier 6pm slot, were watched by 5.1m (32%) over an hour. Results for the BBC One show, from 8.45pm to 9.15pm, attracted 6.9m (32%).
