The 31-year-old risk manager was told by Sir Alan Sugar that she was too "zany" to work in his company.
Ledgerwood was the only candidate to be axed in the semi-final. Alex Wotherspoon, Lee McQueen, Claire Young and Helene Speight will compete in next week's final.
After a series of gruelling interviews with Sir Alan's colleagues and associates, all five candidates were asked back to the boardroom.
Sir Alan questioned Lucinda's ability to work within a team, telling her: "It seems that when you're not in charge it falls apart. What do you say about that?
"In my company I'd be in charge. Are you going to fall apart or be despondent?"
Alex also attacked Lucinda, informing Sir Alan that she had questioned whether she actually wanted the job during the interview process.
"I'm finding this so aggravating," said Alex. "I've given up everything to come down here and I'm
prepared to move down to London and start straight away."
After being fired, Lucinda commented: "I wasn't liked; my accent wasn't liked, my approach to life wasn't liked, what I wore wasn't liked. I am who I am; I don't need to answer to them."
The Apprentice final airs next Wednesday at 9pm on BBC One.
