Comedian Bob Mortimer has revealed that his wife banned him from appearing on reality TV shows.
The Shooting Stars comic claimed that he was invited on ITV's Hell's Kitchen, but was forced to turn down the offer.
"They asked me to go on Hell's Kitchen but I'm banned from reality TV by my wife," he told The Sun. "She's not up for that kind of tomfoolery.
"I'm a terrible swearer - I know all the rude words and I'd never shut up when I'd had a drink or stuff."
Mortimer's comedy partner Vic Reeves has starred on I'm A Celebrity... and Celebrity Come Dine With Me with his wife Nancy Sorrell.
