'MasterChef' Yeow: 'I dress like a kid'

MasterChef Australia contestant Poh Ling Yeow is featured in a special glamour issue of Australian magazine Who, it has emerged.

The runner-up of the reality cooking show told the publication that dressing up for the shoot was a welcome break from sweating in the kitchen.

The 35-year-old finalist said: "This is so different for me. I dress a bit like a kid - lots of colour. I just put on whatever I feel like wearing and not worry too much whether it's on trend."

When asked who her style icon is, the chef replied: "I just identify with [Kate Winslet's] body type for some reason. I really love Helena Christensen as well - slightly Bohemian and a little bit understated. Glamour is about feeling confident, intelligent, knowing yourself and liking yourself."

Yeow, who was defeated by mother-of-three Julie Goodwin in last week's final, added: "I was genuinely happy for Julie when the verdict was read. I wasn't afraid of the outcome, I just knew that whatever happened, I would definitely make something of this."
