Rachael Finch has gone through to the semi-final of Celebrity MasterChef Australia.
The model, who was crowned Miss Universe Australia earlier this year, impressed the judges by cooking salmon on a mango salad and crepes with creme patissiere.
Finch told the ABC: "Travelling around the world, wherever you go, people think that models don't eat. I can tell you I love food and love cooking, and that's why I really wanted to go on the show. I'm half Ukrainian, I'm always eating."
The 21-year-old model was up against SBS Dateline host George Negus and Sydney Swans player Ryan O'Keefe.
This defeat means that Finch will face rumoured boyfriend Eamon Sullivan in the next round of the reality cookery show. She will also be up against INXS musician Kirk Pengilly and cricketer Simon Katich.
