The ex-girlfriend of Australian Idol contestant Kate Cook has revealed that she was dumped by the singer for her younger sister.
Kerry Scrivener, who dated Cook for eight years, said that she was devastated when the reality show evictee broke up with her only to start a relationship with her younger sister Susan Vitlern.
Scrivener told Woman's Day: "After eight years in a relationship it's a hard road now. It's even harder trying to deal with the fact that Kate and Susan are together. I only had one sister, Susan, but now I say I have no sister at all."
25-year-old Cook left the singing competition last week, leaving her in sixth place. There are now only four contestants left in the show after teacher Toby Moulton quit this week.
