Ulrika Jonsson is determined to prove her worth against Sky News host Kay Burley on the new series of Dancing On Ice.

Rumours of possible tension between Jonsson and Burley have been reported today, following ITV's confirmation of the eleven celebrities taking part in the competition.

An insider told The Mirror: "When Ulrika started out she was the PA in the newsroom Kay worked in. Ulrika was way down the pecking order, so now she's desperate to prove she's better on the ice than Kay, who used to boss her about. It will be interesting to see how they get on.

"It might look glamorous, but the learning process is tougher than they could have imagined."
