Jodie Foster lashes out at paparazzi

Jodie Foster has hurled a bag at a paparazzo who was attempting to photograph her with her new girlfriend.

The actress has attracted media attention in recent weeks after reportedly leaving long-term partner Cydney Bernard for screenwriter Cynthia Mort.

She lost her temper with snappers as they tried to catch her on camera sharing a car with a female thought to be Mort.

Video footage posted on TMZ shows Foster throwing a blue and white handbag in the face of a photographer before being driven away by her companion.
