Matthew McConaughey has played down reports that he was partying just weeks before his partner is due to give birth.
The actor was spotted getting drunk at Iguana bar in San Juan Del Sur earlier this week. McConaughey's girlfriend Camila Alves is expected to give birth in couple of weeks.
McConaughey has rubbished rumours he was unfaithful, but admitted to being so drunk that he lost an item of clothing at the Nicaraguan bar.
"Absolutely, Nicaragua is a beautiful place, epic waves…And yes, I'm still looking for my left flip-flop," he told the New York Daily News.
