Charlie Sheen has apologised after an answer machine message of him ranting at ex-wife Denise Richards leaked online, WENN reports.
In the expletive-strewn message, which surfaced on the web recently, Sheen rages at Denise Richards for her conduct during their 2005 divorce.
He starts the message saying: "I guess I should just get used to the fact that... you fire off your nonsense and your lawyer bulls**t and your f**king emails and then you don't answer the phone.
"I'm just really f**king mad and you owe me a phone call... If I did the same s**t to you, you'd be f**king furious."
Sheen issued a statement yesterday apologising for "my choice of words", specifically a racist slur. The actor re-iterated that Tony Todd, an African-American, "was my best man at my first two weddings".
In the statement, he also continued to attack his ex Richards: "For the record, my children did not show up today for a custodial visit without explanation.
"So three and one half years later, the reasons that caused the anger and frustration displayed on that voicemail continue to be manifested on a daily basis."
Last year, a voicemail message left by a furious Alec Baldwin to his daughter appeared online.
