James Gandolfini has revealed that he was nicknamed 'Jesus' while working in a New York mortuary, WENN says.
The Sopranos star worked night shifts to research a film role at the city’s morgue, handling bodies arriving from crime scenes and hospitals.
However, the morgue staff were unable to give Gandolfini much advice because no corpses arrived during his shifts.
Gandolfini said: "They started to call me Jesus Christ because no one would die in New York City."
