Russell Crowe is spending £20,000 per month on a home in London while he films his new movie.
The actor is renting a three-floor property in the Mayfair area with wife Danielle Spencer and their two sons while he shoots Nottingham alongside Sienna Miller.
Crowe will spend six months filming the new Robin Hood adaptation, in which he plays the Sheriff of Nottingham.
A source told The Sun: "Russell is coming over to the UK and wanted somewhere comfortable for his family.
"The house became available after a celebrity couple pulled out of renting it."
