Charlotte Church's estranged father has made a public plea for the star to reconcile with him.
Stephen Reed, 44, has not seen his daughter since he split from her mother Maria 20 years ago. He has now accused Charlotte's family members of turning the TV star against him.
"There are some people who are obviously trying to drive a wedge between us and keep us separated," Reed told the Wales on Sunday newspaper. "People have told her things about me that are abhorrent."
Stephen has been living with his wife Alison for 19 years. They have two children of their own together, 20-year-old Luke and 16-year-old Alexander. Mr. Reed decided to speak out after Charlotte branded him a "stranger" in a press interview.
Church gave birth to Ruby, her first child with Gavin Henson, in September last year. She recently announced that she is pregnant for a second time.
"The last time I tried to get in contact with her was before Ruby's birth, but the reaction I got was 'Go away'. I was passing by her house and the intention was just to say hello," Reed continued. "Gavin's mum was there - she seemed really nice. But she said she didn't want any arguments. She went and asked her, but Charlotte didn't want to hear."
Stephen also insisted that he is not interested in his daughter's fortune, describing his life as "very comfortable".
