Matthew McConaughey has said he "got tribal" during the birth of son Levi Alves.
The actor was with girlfriend Camila Alves during the birth of their first child earlier this month.
Speaking to OK!, he said: "Contractions started kicking in and we found a great rhythm. I sat there with her, right between her legs.
"We got tribal on it. We danced to it! I was DJ-ing this Brazilian music."
He added: "We were jamming!"
McConaughey described the baby's arrival as a "bloody, pukey, sweaty, primeval thing".
