Samantha Ronson has denied reports that she refused to play Ali Lohan's new single in a DJ set.
Writing on her official blog, Ronson said that she was angry with the tabloid rumours because they may upset the singer.
"I'm afraid that people might actually believe that and that's not fair to Ali," she said.
"She's 14 years old - high school is bad enough - do tabloids really need to torture teenagers as well?"
Describing Ali's new single 'All The Way Around', she commented: "It's a great f**king pop song!"
Ronson is currently dating Ali Lohan's sister Lindsay.
