Coronation Street actress Julia Haworth has given birth to her first child.
The soap star, who plays Claire Peacock, had daughter Sophia on Friday. The baby weighed 8lb 11oz.
Haworth, who married accountant Jon Wormald in May, told The Sun: "Words cannot describe how proud we are of our beautiful daughter.
"She is everything we hoped for and so much more."
