Price furious with polo "snobbery"

Katie Price has revealed her fury at being banned from attending a prestigious society polo match.

The 30-year-old, a keen rider, blasted organisers of the Cartier Polo International event for refusing to welcome her.

She wrote in a blog post: "[They were] happy to invite a man convicted of assault on an elderly couple, dozens of aristocrats and an assortment of would-be actresses in minuscule dresses. But [they] wouldn't have me."

Adding in a Times editorial, Price said: "It's pure snobbery. However good a horsewoman I am, I'm also a glamour model. That embarrassed them."

Price claimed that her knowledge of horses exceeded that of most of the people at the event: "Unless you're a toff or a wannabe actress, organisers don't want to know."

Price recently decided to name her horse, a birthday gift from husband Peter Andre, The B****cks.
