According to The Sun, the pair enjoyed a romantic evening at The Groucho Club in the West End last Friday.
"Fearne and Steve have fallen for each other in a big way," commented a source.
"It started off with Steve asking if she fancied a drink as a bit of a laugh because she was single again."
The source continued: "They had a drink and one thing led to another. They have been on quite a few dates now and it has been going really well.
"Steve is outgoing, as is Fearne, and they have clicked."
Cotton, who is currently working on NBC's Last Comic Standing, split up with Jesse Jenkins last month. Her previous lovers include Luke Pritchard, Lostprophets frontman Ian Watkins and Fame Academy contestant Peter Brame.
