Donnie Wahlberg has confirmed that he is divorcing his wife Kim Fey after eight years of marriage.
The New Kids On The Block star's publicist said the couple have lived apart for nearly a year, but insisted that they remain "close friends".
The pair have two children together, Xavier, 15, and Elijah, 7.
Kim Fey filed for divorce at Los Angeles Superior Court on August 13, claiming the couple had "irreconcilable differences".
His wife is seeking sole physical and legal custody of their children, spousal support and attorney fees from the popstar.
