Madonna has sparked controversy by merging video clips of Republican presidential candidate John McCain with Adolf Hitler.
The singer flashed images of the Nazi leader, McCain and Zimbabwe's Robert Mugabe on the big screens during her Sticky & Sweet tour.
Pictures of the political leaders appeared while she was performing 'Get Stupid'. After she finished the tune, images of Democrat candidate Barack Obama, John Lennon, Mahatma Ghandi and Al Gore were shown.
Responding to Madonna's political gesture, McCain's spokesman Tucker Bounds said: "The comparisons are outrageous, unacceptable and crudely divisive all at the same time.
"It clearly shows that when it comes to supporting Barack Obama, his fellow worldwide celebrities refuse to consider any smear or attack off limits."
Madonna is the latest celebrity to endorse Obama, whose supporters include Robert de Niro, Oprah Winfrey, Stevie Wonder, George Clooney and Scarlett Johansson.
