Russell Brand and Britney Spears have been spotted leaving the same restaurant, prompting speculation that the two may be dating.

Although the pair left LA's The Little Door separately, reports suggest that they may have hit it off at last weekend's MTV Video Music Awards - where Britney picked up a hat-trick of gongs.

Brand is said to be looking for a new partner again after splitting from Australian actress Teresa Palmer, although Spears is currently dating bodyguard Lee.
