Kerry Katona has been ordered to pay legal costs following a failed wrangle with the A-list stars’ agency whose books she was on two years ago.

The cash-strapped star is believed to have thought James Grant Media Group might still owe her £172,000.

A judge at Warrington County Court has thrown out a bid by her legal representative David McHugh to force the company to disclose its accounts, reports The Sun.

Bankrupt Katona was ordered to pay £10,700 towards the firm's legal costs. The judge ruled that McHugh should pay £3,500 of that sum, branding him "incompetent" and "deliberately misleading".

A spokesman for Katona said: "This is yet another disaster for Kerry. I feel sorry for her."

The former Atomic Kitten was declared bankrupt last month after she failed to pay £82,000 of a £417,000 tax bill.
