Carey and Cannon plan to "multiply"

Mariah Carey's husband Nick Cannon has sparked more rumours that the couple are trying for a baby.

Cannon said that the pair, who married in April 2008, are "definitely" going to have a child at some point.

"We'll multiply. That's what's gotta happen," he told Us Weekly.

A source denied that the 'I Stay In Love' singer is already pregnant, but added: "They are trying."

Speculation originally began after the singer refused a glass of champagne during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres. She later scrapped plans for a world tour.
