Kerry Katona has reportedly agreed to visit a fat camp so that she can slim down to a size 8.

The reality TV star, 28, is allegedly upset about recent snaps of her looking out of shape during a Mediterranean holiday and has recruited personal trainer Scott Wright, who played Sam Kingston in Coronation Street, to regain a slender figure.

"She's never had a healthy diet but recently she's been having takeaways nearly every day and it shows," an insider told The Mirror.

"She's had a rough few months with her and Mark splitting up and getting back together. She's also been low with her bipolar and sleeps a lot.

"So the photos of her looking so out of shape have been the shock that she has needed to make her think about her lifestyle. And she's now hoping a boot camp will force her to eat healthily and exercise."

The source added: "She wants to shift a stone in a week and then work with Scott again to get rid of the rest of the extra pounds."

The I'm A Celebrity... winner's chosen "fat camp" is apparently run by ex-military PT instructors and charges up to £1,650 per client. MTV film crews will follow Katona during her stay at the fitness resort.
