Actress Liv Tyler, daughter of Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler, has given birth to a boy.

Liv's publicist Stephen Huvane confirmed the news of Liv and husband Royston Langdon's 8lb baby who was birthed in New York's Presbyterian Hospital.

The child is Liv's first one and Steven's first grandchild. Both Steven and Royston were at the birth, after which Liv felt "terrific", according to People.
