McFadden banned from singing about Delta

Brian McFadden has been warned to stop writing songs about new girlfriend Delta Goodrem, if he doesn't want his career to suffer, according to the Herald Sun.

Record bosses have told McFadden that the public won't buy love songs written about Delta, who is blamed by some fans for the break-up of his marriage.

Brian apparently showed his record label one of his more recent songs, which has been described as an "ode to Delta".

An insider revealed, "In it he claims that he didn't know love until he met Delta. The consensus was if he releases it as a single, it will be career suicide."
