Charlotte Church forced to borrow money

Charlotte Church was forced to borrow £1,300 from her trustees so that she could buy a designer dress.

After spending her £1,200 monthly allowance on presents for her loved ones, as well as alcohol and cigarettes, a black frock caught her eye, and the singer was determined to wear it for this week's GQ awards.

The Crazy Chick decided to borrow the money from her accountant Terry Kenny, who complained to Charlotte about her spending habits.

"I had to call my trustee from Monaco and get him to put it on his credit card," Church told Word magazine.

Despite the inconvenience, Charlotte is happy that financial advisers limit her spending, as it protects her £6 million fortune.

Church added, "When I was 18, I had the choice to bring it into my control, but the trustees are my friends. I've known some of them since I was nine. I get a telling off when I go over. It helps, because I haven't made a lot of money in a while.

"I go over the top with presents. But I really wanted that dress."
