Kylie's parents want her to come home

Kylie Minogue's parents want her to leave Paris and return home to Australia.

The singer has chosen to stay in the home city of lover Olivier Martinez, but Ron and Carol Minogue are worried that he is too busy with his film career to offer Kylie the support that she needs.

"I don't see any reason why she can't be treated in Australia," her great-uncle Dennis Riddiford told The People. "I know that is what Carol and Ron would like and it makes sense to me. The family would like her back with them for Christmas. Australia has extremely good medical facilities and a good record in treating cancer. She would be well cared for back home."

A friend of the singer added, "They wanted her at home where they could keep an eye on her and where she could be treated at hospitals they've used all their life. Ron only wants the best for his daughter. He thinks she needs to be surrounded by her nearest and dearest.

"The summer is just starting there and he warmer climate will do her a power of good. But Kylie went to Paris anyway - she loves the city and wants to be with Olivier."
