Ronnie Wood has entered rehab again to try and kick his drinking before the Rolling Stones' summer tour.

The move follows a recent return to his binge drinking thanks to a big 59th birthday party.

Now the guitarist has checked into The Priory for a five-day intensive session.

He wants to be ready for the tour which was already delayed by Keith Richards' head injury from falling out of a coconut tree.

"His drinking started in earnest again at his birthday party," a source told the Daily Mail. "It's got worse since so hopefully this will sort him out."

His wife Jo has recently spoken out about the ongoing alcoholism. "Ronnie knows he has a problem," she said. "He feels really bad about it. When he goes on one of his vodka benders, I just take a back seat.

"He always knows when they are coming on. I used to get very involved. It's Ronnie's problem and he has to deal with it. Of course it's hard. It's awful when he's drinking. But I can't force him to stop."
