Supermodel Naomi Campbell was arrested yesterday on suspicion of assault on her drugs counsellor.

It is the ninth time that Campbell has been arrested in eight years for crimes involving violence, but she strongly denies this latest incident.

According to The Sun, the unnamed counsellor walked into a police station with scratches all over her face. A source reportedly noted: "The marks were so red you could tell the attack had only recently happened."

The police arrested Naomi Campbell immediately on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm, but she was bailed until later in October.
