The singer-cum-TV personality wants to concentrate on her media career, and has reportedly been offered a deal worth £1.2 million for a second series of her chat show.
Church's spokeswoman said: "She is focusing on her TV projects and a book coming out next year. She'll talk to record companies once she starts recording again."
Church is keen to stress the split was not down to the relatively poor sales of her latest album, and insists her personal decision played as big a role: "The deal came to an end and both Sony BMG and Charlotte decided not to renew it," her spokeswoman continued. "It was a mutual decision."
