The singer's mother Margit has told her that she must marry Lib Dem MP Lembit Opik before they can share a home.
"Gabriela would never move in with him until she got married," Margit confirmed to The People.
Opik was spotted trying to win over Margit during a family lunch at a hotel in Rye, East Sussex, last week.
An onlooker revealed: "I recognised the Cheeky Girls straight away. And one of the waitresses said the grey-haired man was a politician and a boyfriend of one of them. I was surprised. There were some intense discussions going on."
